Why this site exists
An owner deciding to sell wants two numbers before anything else: what the business might fetch, and what selling it will cost. The second one should be the easy half, and it is not. On 2026-09-10 eight US firms were read at their own pages. Three print a seller commission: Flippa, Acquire.com and Empire Flippers, all of which sell online businesses. One, Website Closers, prints how it charges without printing what. Four print nothing at all, and those four are the main-street brokers and the M&A advisers who handle most of the businesses actually sold in this country. That is the finding, and it is why this site exists. It records what each firm is willing to put in public, including the firms that put nothing, because knowing which conversations start from zero is worth as much as the fees themselves. It states no view on what any particular business is worth, and it takes no part in any sale.

What it does not do
- We give no valuation. No page here says what a business is worth; the pricing pages explain published methods and stop there.
- We give no legal, tax or securities advice, and nothing here says whether a particular sale needs a registered broker.
- We publish no fee we could not quote from the firm's own live page. A firm that names no price is recorded as naming none, never with a figure from a review site.
- We are never paid a share of a completed sale, so no ordering on this site can be bought.
