Read the floor before the percentage. Empire Flippers charges a flat $10,000 on anything selling under $66,666.66, which is 20% on a $50,000 sale rather than the 15% band above it, and main street brokers work the same way with minimums nobody publishes.

The listing fee is the only money here that is not contingent on a sale: $29 for a sixty-day term on Flippa, $25 a month on Acquire.com below a $250,000 asking price. Everything else in this scope is payable on closing.
