What this service is

Sell My Business Quotes is an independent comparison site and an introduction service. We publish firms' own figures and pass enquiries to firms. We are not a business broker, we take no part in any transaction, and we state no view on what any particular business is worth.

How we are paid

Nothing on this site is paid for by a firm. No firm has bought a place in the fee record, an ordering within it, or a mention on any page. HOW WE ARE PAID: when you send an enquiry through this site we pass it to brokers and advisers, and those firms pay us a flat advertising fee if they take you on. That fee is never a share of what your business sells for, and the reason is not modesty. Transaction-based compensation on a transfer that may be a securities transaction is what makes an unregistered person a broker under the Securities Exchange Act, and several firms in this market run referral programmes that pay a slice of their own commission. We do not take them.

About the fee record

The fee record on this site is compiled by fetching each firm's own published pages and matching every quoted figure word for word against what that page said on the date shown. A firm that publishes no fee is recorded as publishing none, with the date its page was read; nothing is estimated and no figure is carried over from a review site or a trade survey.

No warranty

The record is compiled carefully and it is not a substitute for a firm's own quote or for advice on your own sale. Fees change, and a figure here is what a page said on the date beside it.
