Speed in a business sale is bought, not found. Every genuine accelerator costs either price or certainty, and knowing which you are paying with is the whole decision. The steps that cannot be compressed are the buyer's financing and the buyer's diligence.

What genuinely shortens a sale
A complete file ready before marketing, which removes weeks from diligence. A buyer who does not need external financing. A price at the lower end of defensible, which produces offers faster. And a willingness to accept deferred consideration, because a buyer who can pay less on the day can move quicker.
What only looks fast
Cutting the price without cutting the process still leaves the lender's timetable in place. Skipping preparation moves work from before the sale to the middle of exclusivity, where it costs more because the buyer is watching. Approaching one buyer directly is fast only if they say yes; if they say no you have started again with information already out.
The floor on the timetable
An individual buyer with a loan will take months for the financing regardless. Diligence on a business with employees, a lease and contracts takes weeks. Legal drafting takes weeks. A prepared seller with a funded buyer can close in a couple of months; below that, something material is being skipped and it will usually be the protection you get in the agreement.
Other questions people ask
Can I sell in thirty days?
Only to a buyer who needs no financing and is willing to do limited diligence, which usually means a discount and a purchase agreement with less protection for you.
Does a broker make it faster?
Sometimes, by screening and by managing the process. They cannot compress a lender's underwriting or a landlord's consent.
What is the fastest legitimate route?
A prepared file, a realistic price and a funded buyer. All three are things you can influence before you start.
